I teach from my home in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles.

Many students come to me to study swing and jazz, but I also have a wealth of exerience in the realms of rock, funk and latin, as well as reading and hand technique.

Freddie Gruber has been my teacher and mentor since 1992, and every lesson is guaranteed to accompany a healthy dose of drum wisdom as imparted to me by Freddie himself.

I'm a serious, passionate teacher, and my goal is to pass that enthusiasm on to my students. Regardless of the material we may be studying, I always emphasize practicalities, goalsetting and creating a vision in general. I'm interested in giving you the ability to walk into any gig and own it!

If you live outside the Southern California area, we can do lessons via videotape.

I'm also happy to do "one-offs," or an intensive series of lessons for drummers visiting the L.A. area for a limited period of time.
